Laura Lister, DVM
Dr. Lister has lived in many different states growing up. She considers the desert southwest her home. She achieved her Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Utah and completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree at Purdue University. Dr. Lister is a member of the Arizona and American Veterinary Medial Associations. She has practiced in the Phoenix area since 1994.
We describe Dr. Lister as a creative talented, outgoing and naturally entertaining person. She enjoys figure skating, singing and playing her guitar. She is also an avid reader and the owner of three wonderful dogs that warm all of our hearts her at Val Vista Animal Hospital. When she’s not caring for all our client’s pet family members she enjoys spending time with her own dogs at the dog park.
Dr. Lister gets true enjoyment out of seeing the different ways people bond with their pets and the relationship they build with them. She gets a thrill out of seeing the science of medicine in action every day. Dr. Lister has dedicated her life to improving the health of all the pets she sees. She’s a great example of balancing medicine with compassion and bringing comfort to those that she meets and the pets that they love.
